The district
Trasacco Valley is a private, gated estate on the eastern side of East Legon, toward Adjiringanor. It was planned and built out by a single developer, so it looks unlike the streets around it: paved and lit roads, controlled entry, landscaped verges and detached villas on generous plots.
For most of its life the address has meant one kind of home — the large family villa, bought by senior executives, returning diaspora families and diplomatic tenants who want security and quiet more than a walk to dinner. That has kept supply thin and the area’s reputation firmly at the top of the Accra market.
What is changing is the arrival of apartments around the valley. Mid-rise schemes with studios, one- and two-bedroom units, a pool and shared amenities give buyers a way into the address without buying a villa, and give investors a unit that lets to the same tenants the estate already attracts.
