These are flats in the second phase of a gated estate in Santeo, East Legon Hills, on the north-eastern edge of Accra. The estate sits away from the noise of the inner city, and the developer puts it about five minutes from the British International School and the University of Cape Coast’s Accra campus, and about ten minutes from the Melcom shopping centre and the Swedish Ghana Medical Centre.

The flats are set four to a two-storey block, two on each floor. The two-bedroom flat is 87 sqm: an open-plan living and dining room of about 30 sqm, a fitted kitchen, a service balcony, a store, a guest washroom and two ensuite bedrooms. The three-bedroom flat is 120 sqm, with a 40 sqm living and dining room, a 15 sqm kitchen, a 20 sqm master bedroom and three ensuite bedrooms in all. The developer has not published prices. Buyers can pay by mortgage (banks usually expect 30% equity) or over 12 months: a non-refundable USD 3,000 reservation, then 40% of the price in the first month and 20% at months six, nine and twelve.
